A pair of pears in my sketchbook.
Another gouache practice for today. Trying out new mediums opens up new perspectives.
Sheep and a splash of colour.
Just painted my first animal, and I'm enjoying the result.
I can't get enough of snowdrops this season. I used gouache for the first time for the whole composition.

One of my all-time favourite books: A Garden Eden by Taschen.
The cutest gift I received in a while. #mikulas
I found this rose on the street. It stayed with me for months, but now it has lost its colours completely, so we said farewell. I painted it so I could cherish this memory. It reminds me of the fox's story from Little Prince.
Enjoying a chocolate and almond croissant and coffee at Gail's Bakery, Cambridge Station.

Painting berries, work in progress.
Silver maple leaf in my sketchbook.
I'm giving myself time to experiment with autumn leaves. They are the perfect subject to try new colours, line techniques and brush strokes. Just enjoying every moment of this autumn.
This was the first time I swapped the pen with some twigs I found in the nearby park. Love how these tiny tips produce more organic lines than pens. Drawing this way feels deliberating. 🙃 📌 Trinity College, Cambridge
It was a lovely day out at the Haddenham Steam Rally this weekend. Lots of magnificent machines and great stories.
Summer Fruits and Vegetables
The Thinker and the Sitting Woman of Cernavoda: an unknown artist made this neolithic masterpiece around 7000 years ago. They are one of my favourite statues and seemed the perfect subject to play with colours.
It's like makeup. Just way better. 😆 Thrilled with #holbein quality. My first artist grade watercolour set ever.
These cute elephants were the perfect subject to play with complementaries. They are handmade in Thailand and produced using recycled offcuts from the garment industry. ♻️ 🐘
My mum wanted something unusual: a lilac bouquet in August. Sorted. Sent. Made her happy.

Just found this beauty in the Sedgwick Museum. It's a magnificent Megaloceros giganteus or Irish elk, one of the largest deer that ever lived.
I sketched this after we finished our delicious Thai food and realised we did not take any photos of it. I only took a picture with my eyes and recalled it. ขอบคุณ 🙏

Being a plant lover myself, I think it would be a great idea to draw my plants from time to time. Not because they are great still models, but because I can track their changes. I drew this about half a year ago; they have changed a lot since then.
Having fun with practicing some tree shapes and experimenting with green hues.
